THIS IS NOT FOR EVERYONE! If you don't like the sound of farm animals and seclusion this place isn't for you. If you want to get off the grid and get away from the city, you will LOVE IT. This was an amazing weekend! Peg is a kind and sweet woman who is a delight to sit and chat with. It was a relaxing and serene experience. The trails in this area are great, the land is so beautiful! I will most definitely be coming back again.
If i could give it 100 stars i would. Peggy is just so wonderful best breakfast hands down. Her farmhouse inn is a magical peaceful place and a must see. Cant say enough great things beautiful and a slice of heaven.
A quiet and very pleasant rural retreat, I was overnight but really wish I could have stayed longer. A very old, quaint, rustic but scrupulously clean and maintained log home with up-to-date facilities. The farm was homesteaded by the Taylors and has been in the same family now for two centuries. A fine place to stop and enjoy the peace and beauty of the forest, streams and hills. Much to see and experience within an hours walk or a half hour drive. Seriously, don't miss this! It may be the high point of your trip.
Wonderful place owner is very nice and has three dogs that are great and can and will chill with you.My bed was a bit to firm for me but I still sleep well. Owner has a lot of property that she lets you explore (she has paths and maps) she did say there were snakes that scared me but didn't even find any signs of them and unless you step on one they won't attack you.Have breakfast made for you was nice.The house was very beautiful with a wood cabin feel and it had 3 bedrooms wich worked for my family.Overall an amazing place.Last note if you stay there go hiking and see the rockhouse (huge rock ledge) it was better then what you see in national parks in not joking I'm impresseed.Sadly there is only 1 shower down stairs while there is only a bath up stairs.
